<lj:music>Blue October</lj:music>

I had a weird dream this morning, thought I should write it down before I forgot.

So, I felt the need to ship this thing to one of our franchisees at work for some reason. I went to the lab to ship it with a couple of his orders. I had to look up the order numbers on one of the lab computers and there was a cat sitting on the desk next to the computer. The cat's name was Bubba and it seemed perfectly expected for him to be there at the time. So as I was looking for the order numbers, 3 guys came into the lab with guns pointed at us and threatening us. They must have been previous employees :). So in response a couple of the lab supervisors and one of my "friends" (who doesn't even work there), pulled out their guns on these bad guys. Then somehow I was behind the bad guys and dropped down into a crawling position so that I wouldn't get shot when our guys fired at them and started crawling down this hallway I was suddenly in. As I turned the corner in this hallway with the bad guys behind me, our lab guys came around the corner from the other direction and shot the bad guys, who immediately died.

When I was back in the lab at work, it was filled with kids, like a daycare, and this seemed perfectly logical. An annoucement was made over the intercom that three men had just been killed and one of them was Alex M's father. The kid started crying and one of the adults that happened to be watching him gave him a big hug and I went back to the front office. I told the girls that I share a cubicle with now that 3 men had just died in the lab and they were like, Yeah, we know. Then my boss came into my cube and said "I suppose you have all heard what happened in the lab?" And I said yeah, I was there. That was the end.

Weird, huh?

Is a little courtesy in life too much to expect from people? You know, show some respect, especially to people you care anything about. Return a call, if you have to cancel a plan, let a person know. I don't think that's too much to ask. If someone is getting on your nerves, let them know. Better than just ignoring them and hoping they'll go away. Especially since that doesn't always work.

End rant. . .
